Following is a review of the changes in the ABOMA/Teamsters Local 727 Union collective bargaining agreement. These changes are effective as indicated. Contract language is being drafted, When complete printed copies of the full labor agreement will be distributed to all ABOMA Members. These terms and conditions apply only to ABOMA Member Buildings who have authorized ABOMA to include them into the bargaining unit.
In mid December the Parking Industry Labor and Management Committee will be sponsoring a seminar to detail the changes in this agreement. ABOMA will notify all ABOMA Members as to the date/time/location for the program and how to register. You should plan to attend.
Contract Duration
5 Year Agreement beginning November 1, 2006 and ending October 31, 2011
SUMMARY OF SETTLEMENT
PARKING INDUSTRY AGREEMENT 2006
Wages effective 11/1/2006

$.55 per hour wage increase per year·
2nd tier wage scale for new hires after 11/1/06 (approximately $2.00 less)·
Cashier premium extended to customer service representativesBenefit Funds (combined payments to Health and Welfare, Pension and Legal Assistance) - increases effective 3/1/2007
Annual Increases as follows, with specific breakdowns to be determined:

Increase $62.00 per month effective March 1, 2007· Increase additional $67.00 per month effective March 1, 2008
· Increase additional $72.00 per month effective March 1, 2009
· Increase additional $78.00 per month effective March 1, 2010
· Increase additional $84.00 per month effective March 1, 2011

Minimum of 50% of increase in contributions to go to the Pension Fund during the first two years·
Defer contributions for those hired on or after November 1, 2006 who are new to parking industry (6 months for Health and Welfare and 12 months for Pension)·
Full time contributions for those who work 128 hours in the month·
Effective January 1, 2008, payroll audits limited to 7 years from notice of auditSick and Personal Days
